
Rules

1. Each player must be aware of the dress code and carry a proper golf bag with a minimum of five clubs. No sharing of clubs is permitted.
2. Changing rooms are provided with lockers, for security and convenience. Please use them.
3. Every player must pay a Green Fee before play. Green Fees are not transferable or refundable.
4. On Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays no children under 16 years of age will be permitted to play golf unless they are a member, or they are playing with an adult member. Please enquire about the Academy Course.
5. Non-players (adults or children) are NOT permitted to walk the course at any time or under any circumstances.
6. The management reserve the right to pair-up matches when necessary.
7. A maximum of four players is permitted in each match.
8. No dogs are allowed on the course or putting green.
9. All matches start from the first tee.
10. Before teeing off, a player must make sure that the match in front has completed the hole and cleared the green.
11. If a ball is in danger of striking a person it is the duty of the player who struck the ball to shout the customary warning “FORE”.
12. Play without delay. On a busy day, games start on the first tee every eight minutes.
Players must therefore complete each hole in 8 – 10 minutes.
13. Pitch marks must be repaired on the greens, divots replaced and bunkers raked after use.
14. Instructions of the General Manager, Golf Professionals, and Course Warden must be complied with at all times.
15. Smart dress is to be worn at all times. Shorts are permitted providing they are knee length, tailored and are worn with white, ankle length sports socks. No tracksuits or collarless shirts are permitted.
16. Players must wear proper golf shoes with Softspikes or dimpled soles. No trainers, hockey shoes or cricket shoes are permitted.
17. Driving Range and Clubhouse dress code is smart casual - this does not include beachwear. Squash players are required to shower and change after play. Golfers are welcome to wear clean golf shoes with Softspikes or dimpled soles in the Clubhouse.
18. Priority is given to the teaching staff.
19. Please note that chipping and pitching is not permitted. It is dangerous to other users and damaging to the surrounds.
20. Children must be accompanied at all times on the putting green. Avoid running and jumping.
21. No person may set foot on the Driving Range grass. Retrieving balls or hitting balls from the grass is forbidden. Even retrieving golf equipment lost on the range may seriously endanger your safety. Seek assistance from the Professional’s Shop.
